The Vegabond capital of the universe. The Vertex is a ring of space debris in the political deadzone between Earth and Mars. It's composed entirely of discarded starships, satellites and asteroids.

An initiation center located in Vertex sector ERGO 10. Like many initiation centers, Sargasso Station is just outside of a shipping depot, a common starting point for newly defected Vegabonds.
